flavours of Cambodia
The food was uniformly delicious. How they can maintain a quality a la carte menu in such a small venue is unbelievable.

OUR CUISINE:
The focus of your culinary experience in Maison Polanka is on the freshness of the ingredients, either foraged froour own garden or sourced from the local markets. Our menu is centred on the full flavours of traditional Cambodian cooking and dishes originate from authentic family recipes passed down through the generations. Western cuisine is also offered and executed with exactly the same passion – through the family’s French heritage, our talented chefs have mastered many European dishes. This has all resulted in an interesting fusion of Asian traditions and European culinary techniques.
COOKING CLASSES:
Our chef Chun will provide cooking classes, including a tour of the old traditional market to shop for fresh products and recipes to choose on ou r menu with advises on which one can be easily done when you are back home in your country. Please let us know if you are interested when booking your suite.
An unmarked gate slides open to reveal a profusion of tropical leaves cossetting two Khmer wooden houses on stilts – all polished wood floors, colonial art deco furniture and Khmer artefacts. Meals cooked to French and Khmer family recipes are reserved for villa guests and served in a pavilion next to the infinity pool.

dining experiences
The concept of Maison Polanka is to allow guests to enjoy breakfast at any time of the morning, lunch in the afternoon, sip a cup of Mariage Frères tea served in fine English china crockery or drink refreshing cocktails at any hour. After cruising around town on one of our vintage leather seat bicycles, come back home and wind down in the magic of the night for an intimate candlelit dinner.
Take time to enjoy and savour these private and unique moments with our fine Khmer cuisine. There’s something in the air in Siem Reap – the kindness and compassion of the local people as well as the overwhelming archaeological sites nearby. This, combined with the Feng Shui of Maison Polanka, makes dining here very special.
